| Biography: |
 |
John is one of the firm's senior trial lawyers, having received his B.A. from Villanova University in 1972 and his J.D. from Temple School of Law in 1975. He worked in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office from 1975 until 1985, spending the majority of time there in the homicide unit. During his years in the District Attorney's Office, John earned a reputation as being one of the top homicide prosecutors in the city. In 1985, John joined Cozen and O'Connor where he specialized in insurance litigation. His practice enabled him to participate in catastrophic loss litigation in a number of jurisdictions including state and federal courts in Texas, California, Minnesota, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. After achieving partnership status in 1986, John decided to leave Cozen and O'Connor to join BRBS where he specialized in the litigation of major personal injury cases with a primary focus in the following fields: toxic torts, medical malpractice, product liability, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability. John has investigated, instituted and litigated hundreds of cases involving serious personal injuries and many involving client deaths. In 2004, John was named a Philadelphia Super Lawyer, meaning he was selected by his peers as being among the top 5% of practicing attorneys in Pennsylvania. |
