National Mesothelioma Awareness Day to be Celebrated Next Month

For the past decade, the United States has commemorated National Mesothelioma Awareness Day.  This year, the initiative takes place on Friday, September 26, 2014.  The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation has been spearheading the national campaign since 2004 in an attempt to educate the public and bring awareness to the rare disease.

National Mesothelioma Awareness Day is also recognized federally by the U.S. Senate and the U.S.  House of Representatives.  In addition, many local and state governments support the initiative.  The Meso Foundation is planning a variety of activities on September 26th.  Individuals interested in joining in the awareness campaign should visit MARF’s website for a complete list of activities planned for National Mesothelioma Awareness Day.

The Philadelphia asbestos lawyers at Brookman, Rosenberg, Brown & Sandler fully support National Mesothelioma Awareness Day and the Meso Foundation’s educational campaign.  For over three decades our mesothelioma lawyers have successfully represented mesothelioma patients and their loved ones.  Call our Philadelphia law offices at 215-569-4000 or contact us online to schedule a free consultation.
